Deep connection with your child
When was the last time you truly made deep contact with your child, without distraction and without rushing?
The moment a parent and child really meet each other again opens the door to a deeper kind of connection.
It is something I get to witness again and again during the therapy walks I offer in nature. As an outdoor psychologist, I work not only with adults but with children as well. The sessions in which parent and child walk together move me every time.
Nature plays an essential role in this. It slows us down, softens us, and invites real attention. Not long ago, I walked with a boy of about ten and his mother. I invited them to gather "nature treasures" objects from the forest that reflected how they were feeling in that moment.
What followed was an open and pure conversation, where not only words, but silence and experience also had space.
Slowly I saw how mother and son began to let in the peace of nature together. By the end of the walk, they were clearly walking beside each other with more connection.
That is, to me, the heart of my work as an outdoor psychologist: restoring connection, helping people find calm together, and learning to truly see one another again.
How often do you make time to really walk beside your child, without needing to solve anything, but simply to be together?
Would you like to connect sometime without obligation? I would truly enjoy that. In my practice I offer several programs, including parent-child guidance. During these sessions, I invite nature and walking in as a co-therapist.
Would you like to explore a session together? Feel free to send me a message.
