Travelling around

Travelling with our camper over the past two weeks did more for me than months of working behind my laptop.

Wandering through places I had never been before. Spending time with my family. Reflecting on what has been coming my way lately.

Asking myself reflective questions. Feeling, deep inside, what I want and where I want to go in life.

We are often inclined to keep going on autopilot. Yet when we step back for a moment and find ourselves in a different environment, the mind is given room to look at our own situation differently.

That is exactly what I did over the past two weeks. We travelled with our camper to southern Italy, as far as Matera, and then made our way back step by step. Discovering new places, yes, but above all creating space to look at myself with fresh eyes.

Now that I am back and opening my computer again, I notice that I am looking at what I do with new clarity. I see more clearly what I do and do not want.

A refreshing moment for now.
