Traveling around

Traveling with our camper over the past two weeks did more for me than months of working behind my laptop.

Wandering through places I had never seen before. Spending time with my family. Reflecting on everything that has been meeting me lately.

Asking myself honest questions. Feeling, deep inside, what I want and where I want to go in life.

We often keep moving on autopilot. But when we step back for a moment and enter a different environment, the mind gets room to look at our own situation in a new way.

That is exactly what I did over the last two weeks. We traveled with our camper to southern Italy, all the way to Matera, and then slowly made our way back. Discovering new places, yes, but even more, experiencing the space to look at myself with fresh eyes.

Now that I am back and opening my computer again, I notice that I am looking differently at what I do. I feel more clarity about what I do and do not want.

A refreshing moment for now.
